One of Ireland’s up and coming young Singer/ Songwriter’s is 24-year-old Owen
Rua. He is from Tralee, Co. Kerry in the scenic South West of Ireland.
Owen is a prolific songwriter and performer of Pop music with influences of blues, folk and soul. Having
studied music in Saint Louis College in Rome, Italy and being a graduate of a 4-year
degree from the Cork School of music, he is from a musical family and always
wanted to be a professional musician.

Before the Corona virus, Owen regularly performed passionate acoustic performances around Ireland. Storytelling is an important part of the creative process for him.
His influences include Sam Smith,
Hozier, Mariah Carey, Barbra Streisand and many more. He is one to watch. Owen is
in the process of recording his first EP and intends to release his first single at the
end of July 2020.
