Alex Cowley And The Back Beats
Douglas based singer songwriting, Alex Cowley, is back on the Manx Music Scene with a new song, Meaning To Talk. He’s been releasing new music since July 2019 with the singles Ghost of Elvis and Bored of Talking.
The new song is a 60s style, Liam Gallagher foot stomper with a hint of psychedelia thrown in for good measure. Big guitars strum along with pounding drums while Alex croons the hook – line “But you knnnnnnnow…” telling his story which keeps you wanting to listen further. You could definitely imagine it played live with a full band, somthing which he hopes will happen in 2020.
With promise of forthcoming songs this catchy and with Alex writing a book due out soon, Gigmann.com is hoping to get Alex in for a interview in the near future, because, you know, we’ve been meaning to talk again for quite a while …. 😉
